■Single-phase（1Φ） transformer
A single-phase transformer is a transformer that receives single-phase power by itself.

■Three-phase（3Φ） transformer
A three-phase transformer is a transformer that independently receives three-phase power.

■Three-phase / Two-phase : Scott connection（3/2Φ）transformer
This is a transformer that converts three-phase power into two single-phase circuits.
The balance of a three-phase power supply can only be obtained if the load on the secondary side is split into two circuits of equal capacity.

■Three-phase / Single-phase : Reverse-V （ 3/1Φ） transformer
This is a transformer that converts three-phase power into a single-phase single circuit.
It is used when the secondary load cannot be divided into two circuits.
However, the three-phase power supply is unbalanced. (The primary U-phase current is twice the rated current of the three-phase)
